Our policy on fees is to
charge on an hourly rate based on specific sets of rates. We believe
that the hourly billing system is the fairest for both the client
and the firm, as it ensures that the attorneys spend as much time
as necessary on the case, while having a minimum legal fee deposit
protects the firm from the risk of non-payment of bills once the
time has been worked.
The rates, however, are graduated on scale to reflect the seniority
of counsel handling the matter and the complexity of the brief.
In exceptional cases however, where it is desired by our client,
we can, by pre-arrangement, charge a lump sum for a transaction
or charge on different basis for each stage of a particular brief/matter.
All invoices are due upon receipt, and we reserve the right to withdraw
our representation if our invoices are not paid on time. At the
point of hire we request that you sign an engagement contract and
pay the minimum legal fee before we start working on your case.
